Belize District
Belize District, is home to Belize City, the largest city in Belize and it's commercial capital. The Belize District is also home to "The Belize Zoo", "Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary", "Altun Ha", "San Pedro", and "Caye Caulker" to name a few.

Altun Ha is one of the most well known Maya archaeological sites in Belize. Altun Ha is located in the Belize District some 30 miles to the north of Belize City. The core area of Altun Ha contains some thirteen structures clustered within two Classic Period plazas.
